Conments On Chenli's Research About ZhengXue

Chen Li was the icon in late qing dynasty about the history of academic changes in lingnan , also an important representative of ZhengXue's academic research. In recent years, with the warming of Lingnan culture, Chen Li was pay more attention in academic gradually, however, for the study on Chen Li'research about ZhengXue is still weak.Based on the achievements of its predecessor, this paper comprehensively examined Mr. Chen Li'research about ZhengXue from the aspect of documentary materials. And it also revealed that Mr. Chen Li's research process is different from other ZhengXue scholars during the Qing dynasty. Through the elaboration of ZhengXue's domestic discipline and its influence, Mr. Chen Li tries to correct the scholars mistakes view about ZhengXue. Consequently, guiding the new style study and cultivating new talent, in this way to achieve the purpose of using academic to administrate this world.The paper can be divided into six parts ,including introduction and endnotes. About the introduction and the first chapter, I mainly overviewed the following several points. What they are: the reason for choosing this topic; the significance; the current situation about the research object; the source of ZhengXue and its evolution.The body part of this paper is the chapter Two, Three and Four. The chapter two mainly emphasizes Chen Li's academic background and academic characteristics, and also the status of his famous book Dongshu Du Shu Ji (My reading notes at Dongshu) in his academic career. This chapter also states the implications of the research of Chen Li's research about ZhengXue. Chapter three pays much more attention to the research content and research achievements of Chen Li's research about ZhengXue. His research about ZhengXue is different from other scholars who mainly focus on ZhengXue partially. Cheng Li pays more attention to reflect ZhengXue's academic features in order to meet the needs of enlighten and inspire later generations. The fourth chapter focuses on the comment of Chen Li's research about ZhengXue. Chapter four mainly analyzes the advantages and shortages of Chen Li's research about ZhengXue. The advantage is that Chen Li tries to use domestic rules of Zheng family to promote new study style. And he also emphasizes that ritual is ZhengXue. Finally, he wants to restore morality. The shortage is that he requests later generations to submit to the former academics. He wrongly limited his academic thoughts to the formers said within.To sum up, Chen Li's research about ZhengXue is important on the history of ZhengXue .The value of Chen Li's research about ZhengXue in the history of ZhengXue is that his point of view influences many scholars of late Qing dynasty, changing the superficial view that ZhengXue is exegesis. Chen Li also advocated ZhengXue's major role in notifying and applying ancient classics, govern and benefit the people.
