Jack London, a well known American realist writer of a lot of truly classic works. His works are not only popular in America, but also popular in the whole world. The unique stories, such as The Call of the Wild, White Fang and The Sea wolf, gave him a great reputation all over the world. The Call of the Wild was about a story that Buck, a strong brave dog, came back to the primitive life from the human civilization. White Fang was about the description of a little wolf dog, White Fang, was seized by an Indian with its mother, and was trained to be a sled dog. Later White Fang was sold to a ferocious master. The new owner trained it to be a more brutal fighting wolf than the wild animal. But Wade Scott who was a mining engineer rescued it from the abyss of barbarism, and educated it into a docile and faithful home dog with his good care and love. The Sea-Wolf was about a sea adventure of Van, which was the main line of the fiction. In these works, Jack London depicted the superman images which reflected his male heroism. Art comes from life beyond life. London's works were popular to the readers in the world because there were the writer's experience and the feelings in it. The writer's experience and the feelings were integrated into a kind of near-wild fighting spirit which fascinated the readers and made them excited. The near-wild fighting spirit in London's works was mainy from the male master, but it was inspired by the spark—the female. At present the research about Jack London's novels is mainly concentrated on the techniques how to shape the protagonist, and what it has the symbolic meaning. But it is not yet a lot from the perspective of feminist criticism. This dissertation aims at examining the masculinity in some of his novels from the perspective of feminist criticism, through analyzing the male consciousness comprehensively in the novels from the feminist criticism theory and four feminist criticism methodological principles:"Raise the Women's Issues","Reject the Host - Guest Dichotomy","For Women"and"Continue to Reflect", we could find that: first of all, men are the real masters of the society; secondary, women are the catalyst to the confidence of men; the third one, men are the practitioners of the wild way. Meanwhile, try to establish a general framework for the text analysis of the male-consciousness novels, through exploring and studying the works of Jack London how to shape the male heroism. In short, the masculinity in his wolf novels is full of the male cultural centrism. Especially we could feel the strong masculinity from the perspective of feminism. These were not only to reflect the personal ideas of London, but also the reality embodiment of his age.
