| The studies on Skopos Theory and Translators'Creative Treason have always been focused by gerneral scholors, ever since the development of Descriptive Translation Study. And a great many translation researchers have publised their papers on Skopos Theory and Translator's Creative Treason within the past decade. However, most studied these two theories as independent parts. But during the collection and preparation for this dissertation, the writer found that Skopos Theory and Translatiors'Creative Treason are closely related for they both aim to make description, explaination and prediction to translation practice(Toury, 2001). Besides, the Three Rules of Skopos Theory are quite instructive in the process of translation evaluation. Thereafter, in respect of the relation between Skopos Theory and Translators'Creative Treason, and the instruction of Skopos Theory, the writer attempts to analyze translators'concious creative treason and unconcious creative treason in the three Chinese version of Animal Farm from the perspective Skopos Rule.In the process of analysis, the writer analyzed the author's creative intention of Animal Farm and his ways of realizing intention; translators'translation intention; how translators employ the Three Rules of Skopos Theory in creative treason by making examples and comparison; and finally, present some rewritings for reference.Through the whole study, it is easy to find that the originality in this dissertation is that the writer analyzed translation phenomenons in a critical way instead of a acceptable manner and provide reasoning and explaination; and making Skopos Theory and Creative Treason as a theoretical support and also as a method of analysis. |
