A Research On Grammar Of Lingxian's Dialect

Dialect is a reflection of folk culture and local customs and ideas. Official dialect represents the direction of development of Chinese. As dialect is the foundation of Chinese, the research of it can deepen our knowledge of Chinese and standardize its usage. This thesis is the research of the dialect of the author's hometown--- Ling County, which locates in the Northwest of Shandong Province and belongs to the city of Dezhou. Despite some similarities with Pongtonghua, the Ling County dialect has some special characteristics. In the thesis, the author first give a general description of it, then describes and analyzes the differences between Pongtonghua and Ling County dialect.There are three chapters in this thesis.Chapter one is introduction, which briefly introduces the general surveys of the nature, population, and history as well as the pronunciation partner.Chapter two is about the lexical of Ling County dialect, which analyze the usage of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions. Compared with Pongtonghua, Ling County dialect has much richer affixes, and more vivid adjectives, adverbs and prepositions.Chapter three is about the syntax of Ling County dialect. This chapter mainly focuses on the comparative sentences, questions, sentences of passive voice and special sentences structures.
