Chinese is a historical nation with great culture and various aesthetic tastes. As a very important part of Chinese culture and rooted in the rich culture soil, Chinese traditional painting has a long history and experienced continuous development for generations to become more and more perfect; it formed a complete artist system which merges with .artistic appreciation, philosophy , aesthetic consciousness and thinking method of the Chinese nation.As a one of the Chinese painting subject, Chinese landscape painting is pursuing a supernatural spiritual insight based on the aesthetic spirit of Confucianism, Taoism and Zen. It mergers aesthetic consciousness, artistic natural, humane attainment, etc. into a"coexistence of human and nature"visual culture through composition of the picture. The harmony of human and nature makes the structure of landscape painting exhibiting the spirit of object more freely and it emphasizes on the experience of real world and spiritual meaning above image, which forms a kind of thoroughly self-expression and pursuing. Based on the Chinese ancient philosophy theory, the landscape reflects the image, which is expressed by the composition of the picture, in mind. Ancients looked up the sky and found the basic law of nature: yin and yang are opposite and also supportive to each other, which means they are abound to be together. Therefore, the artistic conception and composition of picture cannot be separated and are complementary, which is likewise the basic law of painting. Meanwhile, Feng Shui aesthetics has a great influence on Chinese landscape painting and some excellent painter learned extra aesthetics training from it. Actually, the philosophy of painting and Feng shui are both"balance". The real and feign, heavy and light, black and white have the same philosophy as YinYang balance in Feng shui, which has been developed to a unique Chinese composition of painting.
