Analysis Of Sculpture Harmony

"Beauty and inducing beauty is the highest law of forming art", "Art is certain about describing beauty", said Lessing, who is the Pioneer of the enlightenment from Germany. However, Esthetician Pythagoras, from Greece, insisted that "beauty is harmony". Beauty is harmony, harmony is beauty. Harmony and beauty naturally exists, it is the ideality that people go after, as well as "the highest goal and focus performance" of the art.Human is connectivity between the nature and harmonious universal, cannot get away from "being destined" in the esthetic cognition. Art is as an important part of energy-objectification of human nature, it is not only "act of human nature", but also "need of human nature". Art is a concomitant of people, it cannot have its own destiny without human. So, as for sculpture, it also cannot have its own destiny without art, human and nature. From ancient Greece to Renaissance's high chase, from Roddan to Herry Moore's image sublimation, from machinist abstract to all kinds of conception, from the West to China's unique. Whatever "synthetic image", "imago", "abstract", "neither fish nor flesh" sculpture, they are all contain "harmony and beauty" in this universal. In order to make their own art creation forevermore meet the need of the age, modern artists adopt and create some new technique, languages and forms, to truly and perfectly indicate their own age view. In the field of sculpture, there prevails "being dispelled" "being deconstructed" "being integrated" "being concepted" "being extended"----; however, it never gets away from destiny of "being harmonized" by nature.Sculpture is ever regarded as "cubic poetry" by the ancient West, it is a proper comparison. Firstly, sculpture possesses form harmony beauty of poetry; secondly, sculpture possesses image harmony beauty of poetry, is the inner sublimation of beauty; thirdly, poetry symbolizes the harmony aspiration of human. Coming back to the harmony relationship between nature and human beings is the final destination of sculpture. Therefore, this thesis consists of three parts according to this: the first part is the form harmony of sculpture, the second part is the image harmony of sculpture, and the third part is the harmony of sculpture and environment.The first part, the form harmony of sculpture, mainly describes the harmonious movement relation among the vision elements (size, physique, color, etc.) and concept elements (invisible point and line to plane, invisible basic physique, etc.)The second part, the image harmony of sculpture, mainly describes the harmony between subject and object, sensitivity and reason, realizing comfortable harmony beauty. "Can intercourse with features, can combine the spirit and object together", is the connection of "form creation" and "image creation", is the balance union of "forever" subject spirit and "temporary" object, is perfect harmony of reality and ideal, reason and poetry.The third part, the harmony of sculpture and environment, mainly describes harmony union relationship between sculpture and nature, society and mental environment, is external statues of sculpture, and is the application in the environmental reality of form harmony and image harmony.
