"Academic Research" (Yunnan) And Marxist Historians Establishment And Development In Yunnan

This dissertation will focus on the journal of The Academic Research (Yunnan),from the view of academic history. The Academic Research (Yunnan) was sponsored by Yunnan Provincial Philosophy Social Science Society, which was one of the most important journals in Yunnan. This journal was lunched in July,1961,and suspended in January,1965. At this period, it has published 87 history articles.As is known to all, academic journals plays an important role in the development of academic.Through the systemic and in-depth research,it help us to present the achievements of history studies,and summarize the characteristic or rules of history research of Yunnan.This dissertation will cover four aspects.Firstly, The Academic Research (Yunnan)s background of foundation,process and the characteristic. Secondly, the constitution and the education background of the groups of writers. Thirdly, The Academic Research (Yunnan)s hot point in the field of history research. Finally, the achievements of history studies of Yunnan after the Reform and Open.Through systemic researches in The Academic Research (Yunnan), this dissertation comes to the ideas and view-points as follows:First, by analyzing The Academic Research (Yunnan)s background of foundation, process and the characteristic,the author thinks:The Academic Research (Yunnan)is the most important journals in the 1960s, since the day of its naissance, it provide an important place for the academics to publish their academic achievements and communicate with others. So it become an important bridge to exchange ideas between the academics of Yunnan province and other provinces.Second, by analyzing the constitution and the education background of the groups of writers, we found that the writers include most of the scholars of Yunnan from the young to the old, their education background and knowledge structure is different, and can symbolize the comprehensive situation of the historic researches in Yunnan.Third, by analyzing the content of the historic papers, the author thinks that all the 87 papers from the start to the end, most of them are about Marxism historic which were popular all around tha country at that time. These works are mainly about:the revolt of Du Wenxiu, Li Dingguo, and other important minority revolts(Researches of Famer Revolts); the researches about the society qulities of Jingpo, Bulang, Dulong, Dai Minorities, South County and so on(Researches of the cleft of Ancient and Present); the discussion of peoples; the researches of Chinese economic history. In addition, the researches of peoples' history had also gained big consequences, especially these one that with characters of Yunnan academic field in on national historic researches, the works were also meaningful which attracted the attention of the academic field. As a result, it not only propagandizes the achievements of the academics, but also provided new point for the researches of national history.Forth, after the investigation of the historic studies of Yunnan at the beginning of Reform and Open, we can find the the historic works of that period were the deepen and widen of the works on Academic Researches. These achievements indicated that the Marxism history studies of Yunnan had some influences around the nation, even more advanced in some fields, these symbolizing the the beginning Marxism researches in Yunnan. So after all the studies of it, this paper proposes that at the beginning of PRC when Marxism had govern place, most of the works on it had symbolized the new building of Marxism researches in Yunnan, which also foretells the trend and direction of historic studies in Yunnan, has momentous and great effects for the building and development of modern historic researches in Yunnan.
