Documents of the history of oral media education showed that, there were once biases toward mental imagery and episodic memory. These biases on memory had helped shaping oral thinking, which had a great advantage in expressing subjective experiences, while failed to represent the relations between objects and their essentials effectively.Further theoretical models and experimental proofs in cognitive-neuropsychology have unveiled the relationships between memory and media:The media is able to cause biases on both working memory and long-term memory. The use of print media had caused the shift from the metal imagery towards phonological loop in working memory, in the mean time caused a transformation on itself; The other shift was taken place in long term memory, the bias on episodic memory was changed into a bias on semantic memory. Semantic memory is for the education under print media, because it is much more objective and pervasive than episodic memory. And this education relied heavily upon arithmetic and dialectic instructions.By influencing the biases on human memory, media is able to mould the thinking befitting itself. The human mind assimilates the media into cognitive-schema, while media accommodates to the cognitive-schema, creating an equilibration. Different media creates different thinking. The memory biases of print media facilitated abstract thinking, which is able to express the relations between objects and their essentials effectively. However it is also confined by the print media, making it ineffective for the expression of concrete experiences. Experimental proofs have shown that the digital media is capable of mobilizing different modules both of working memory and long-term memory, and by facilitating systematic laws learning under concrete experiences, creating analogical-metaphorical thinking.RPG is a kind of complex simulation, capable of providing concrete experiences for systematic rules learning, among which MMORPG is the most complex one. MMORPG has intrinsic advantage on technology learning and instruction organization forms. By constructing simple system model, MMORPG is able to expand the rule system by connecting the virtual world with the real world. Since MMORPG utilizes all modules of memory, it provides a good environment for explicit and implicit rule learning. In a word MMORPG is a good way for mastering analogical-metaphorical thinking.
