My Collage Of Landscape Painting

This paper is to elaborate my understanding of the landscape painting art with my own experience and practice, through the dissertation of the ancients'artwork and their creative models. Analyze the Orient perceived by western artists in the field of landscape painting, and to discuss the initiative observation in the oriental painting which have significant influence on the western aesthetic. To summarize and research the different aesthetic attitudes between the west and the east. In addition, extract the essence of the collage art by the approach of the"initiative observation, initiative expression", which make myself perceive the landscape painting with this new point of view, and that idea reflected in my own work of art. After a series of experimental attempt, such as combination of collage and printmaking, explore the possibilities of the printmaking expression ways. Collage remains a core element and a fundamental method. In fact, it in my work is beyond the function and meaning of material, symbol and medium. Collage for me is a way of life and cultivation. It is directly linked to the changes of mood in my works. Moreover, discuss the bond of the landscape and the state of mind. Advocate that painting should be start from sentiment and gnosis instinct intuition. Explore the possibilities of printmaking by the superposition, excision, and consolidation. Combined own accumulation of knowledge, and understanding of daily life, to present an appreciation of landscape painting. In the interplay of the impossible and the possible, I expand the range of my possibilities. Through my own experience of the western culture, eastern academic research and read all recourse to make comparison of these two, so that to recognize the different spirit, form, and colors of landscape painting. My own collage painting and documentary evidence will be a support to clarify my point of view.
