In contemporary Epistemology, the problem of Skepticism is very important, many famous philosopher have penetratingly explored on it.The first part is to analyze the basic idea of Cartesian Skepticism, this part including"The Dream Argument", "The Evil Demon Argument"and"Brains-in-a-vat Argument", the Brains-in-a-vat Argument is the modern vision of Cartesian Skepticism. Then I introduce three possible ways to solve the skeptical problem, and analyze the feasibility of these ways. The second part is analyze the Contextualism. First I analyze the basic idea of Contextualism, which is mainly involves the Stewart Cohen's and Keith DeRose's theory. But the two theory are very different on the Epistemolgy:DeRose emphasizes the definition of knowledge, and Cohen emphasizes the notion of "justification", so they need to solve different problems. DeRose's problem is "Can we possess the our daily knowledge", Cohen's problem is "Can we have a sufficient justification on our daily belief". Then I introduce the JTB analysis of knowledge and the Gettier problem to chose the better way to solve the skeptical problem, and arrive at a conclusion that the notion of "justification" is very important to the analysis of knowledge. So, I incline toward Cohen's theory. And then I analyze the position of the notion of "justification" in the solution of skeptical problem, therefore highlight the problem of "Global justification". For solving the problem of "Global justification", many contextualists think that the the justification of belief should be closely related to the notion of "context", but that is far from enough. There is a breakthrough points in the account of "Closure Principle", and many contextualists deny "Closure Principle" to solve the skeptical problem. But this method is costly. In my opinion, the contextualists need not to deny the "Closure Principle". The solution of "relevance problem" is also necessary, which is discussed in detail. The third part analyze the reflection and development of the theory of Contextualism. The first question is:"Has Contextualism solved the problem of Skepticism?". According to the above analysis, in the sense of reducing the negative influence of Skepticism which has an adverse effect on our daily life, Contextualism has solved the Skeptical problem. But another difficulty arises here:Contextualism could have a tendency of Relativism in solving the Skeptical problem. This criticism is unacceptable. So, in my opinion, in the future development of Contextualism, Contextualism need not only to fight against Skepticism, but also to avoid the tendency of Relativism.
