The Analysis Of The Idea Integrating Digits And Images In Composing The Orchestral Symphony Lian Yi

The integrate of digits and images in music composition is actually the combination of music and digital images. It is based on the geometry formulae to develop the logic of composition while the image acts as a visual reminder of the emotion and scene of music. It is through the mathematical logic rendered by the image that the integrate controls the tones. The orchestral symphony Lian Yi is such a work that it is based on the combination of 20 pieces of geometrical pictures and the emotion of music. The data of geometrical images are fundamental parts of the music composition, they are then adopted to tentatively explores the integrate of logic idea, emotion and scene of music by the following aspects:the relationship between the entire structure of music and geometrical images, the relationship between pitch and digital images, the relationship between rhythm and digital images, the relationship between emotion scene of music and the appearance of digital image, the appearance of tone colour and sound. It is not only an abstract combination of music and digital images in a concrete way but also a combination concerning abstract emotion and scene of music image and colour through which the music show the ripplet (Lian Yi).It is the feature of this age such as information, audio-visual and mixture of variety that inspired me to figure out this kind of creation that explores and experiences the tide of Post-modernism. The creation style that lots of musicians take as their owns is to integrate music together with other field, which leads music to other aspects.Lian Yi is based on the integrate of geometrical images and music, the combination of national characters and western composition skills and the parallel between music itself and abstract images, which is also a test on creation pattern. This kind of test will be a basic idea of my recent study and series of experiments.
