It made piano duo has practical usage. Nowadays, piano duo is a famous and well-known performance style in Western countries. Audiences were entertained by this kind of style. Piano duo is also welcomed in China. Conservatories have the training programs of playing concerto, piano duo and piano for four hands but it is still lacking in the Normal Universities. It confines the students'ability on piano.This thesis will discus piano duo in three parts to present the fascination of piano duo -history, actuality and how to performing and training. Knowing the cooperation of performing piano by illuminating the importance of training piano duo in Normal Universities and developing students'ability of playing piano, not only in studying by self but also in working with partners. Nowadays in the Mainland, this form of cooperation piano playing is given a very warm welcome.
