Comparative Study Of Chinese And Russian Complicated Sentence

Based on the analysis of the differences in the language forms of Chinese and Russian, the study examines the thinking patterns and the cultural patterns and explores the reasons for the formation of the two different cultures. Comparative study is a positive tend in the field of modern linguistic research. In the present day research of either Chinese or Russian, the research of complex sentence is rarely touched. The prerequisite for the comparative study of the Chinese complex sentence and the Russian complex sentence is how to distinguish the definitive boundary between the two. There are problems involving different comprehension of the definition of complex sentence within the Chinese language study circle and the Russian language study circle, the structural difference of the Chinese complex sentence and the Russian complex sentence, the structural inadequacy of the Chinese, and the obscurity on dividing the simple and complex sentence in the Chinese language. Due to the above problems, the comparative study is rendered into a dilemma. This paper proposes the principles and the standards to distinguish the Russian complex sentence and the Chinese complex sentence, by means of comparative study of the definitive boundary between the two.
