4-Chromones and 4-chromanones are known to exhibit a wide range of biological activities. Mannich base at 3-position of 4-chromanones, 6,8-position of 4-chromones and 4-chromanones synthesized , 7-aminoalkyloxy-4-chromanones and 6 or 7-aminoalkyloxy-4-chromones synthesized in our laboratory exhibit the significant anti-platelet aggregative activity. In this paper, the classification, mechanisms of action and development of anti-platelet aggregative drugs were summarized, and the anti-platelet aggregative activities of 4-chromones and 4-chromanones were introduced.On the base of our previous work, chroman derivatives which include four of 7-aminoalkyloxychromans and three of 7-aminocarbonylalkyloxychromans, and three of 6-aminoalkyloxychromans and two of 6-aminocarbonylalkyloxychromans , and one of 5 -aminoalkyloxychromans and two of 5-aminocarbonylalkyloxychromans, and two of Mannich bases at 6 and 6,8-position of 7-hydroxychroman and one of Mannich base at 5-position of 6-hydroxychroman, and five of chromanoxazines, were designed as the candidates of platelet aggregative inhibitors; and were synthesized and characterized by ~1H-NMR and MS, which were not reported in the literature.
