| [Objective] Establishment of young SD rats with unilateral condylar neck fractures, the fracture line by adding PTFE animal model of stress and changes in rat mandibular condylar growth and development for the study of biological characteristics of the condyle to provide theory.[Methods] With ophthalmic scissors to cut the neck of condyle fracture caused by rampant, the PTFE membrane to block its stuffed fracture healing. Coated fracture surgery group set up side, fracture non-surgical side of the coated group, surgical side of the fracture group, non-surgical side of the fracture group and non-surgical control group.1,3,5,9, respectively, after weeks of SD rats were sacrificed, and the mandibular condyle anatomical imaging and histological observations. Immunohistochemical detection and condylar growth and development are closely related to collagen type â… (Col â… ) and collagen type â…¡ (Col â…¡)in the condylar cartilage expression.[Results] The operated side condyle of fractures coated group increase after1,3week, atrophy5,9weeks. Compared with the control group, Mandibular growth after fractures coated group operated side four points in time restricted; and non-operated side compared to non-surgical side of the mandible length, height, mandibular ramus height of more than the operated side, resulting in mandibular asymmetry. HE staining membrane operative fracture plus side condylar cartilage layer into cartilage cells, mast thickness is greater than the control group after1,3week, then gradually thinning. Immunohistochemical determination of collagen type â… ,Hin condylar cartilage into chondrogenic layer. Quantitative analysis showed that the fracture of the coated group on the operative side of collagen type â… expression decreased gradually, after surgery, four points in time strong at the blank control group and fracture non-surgical side of the coated group,but weaker than the surgical side of the fracture group in3,5weeks after surgery. Fractures coated group operated side expression of collagen type â…¡ is the first increases and then decreases,1,3,5weeks after surgery is stronger than the other groups. [Conclusions] The study of animal models with good feasibility and reproducibility. Unilateral condylar neck fracture by adding PTFE to prevent stump healing, so condyle remain free state, the stress is no longer directly transmitted to the mandibular condyle. Condylar growth and development are affected, fractures and fracture-coated group group mandibular asymmetry growth, jaw deviation to the operated side. Condyle in the collagen type â… , â…¡, and parathyroid hormone-related protein-stimulating factor on the expression of change. Prompted the condyle to accept the stress changes from the mandible, condyle dysplasia, while the condyle as an important growing areas of the mandible, but also affect the normal growth and development of the mandible. |
