Clincial Research On Knee Osteoarthritis Treated By ManiPulation Combined With JianGu Granule

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of manipulation combined with JianGu granule treatment for knee osteoarthritis, and to investigate the comprehensive treatment solution on knee osteoarthritis.Methods90 cases of Patients with knee osteoarthritis who had been diagnosed were randomized into grouP A (45 Patients receiving manipulation treatment) and grouP B (45 Patients receiving JianGu granule based on manipulation treatment). The Clinical SymPtom, functional activities of knee joints, adverse reaction, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and C-reactive Protein (CRP) were evaluated before and after two months of theraPy.Results①After treatment, the morning stiffness duration, tenderness, swelling and soreness of joints in both grouPs were significantly imProved (P<0.01), but the improvement was more significant in grouP B (P<0.01).②The level of ESR and CRP reduced in both grouPs significantly (P<0.01),and no significant difference were found between grouPs (P<0.01).③Both Effective rate and long-term efficacy of grouP B were significantly higher than that of grouP A (P<0.01).ConclusionManipulation treatment for knee osteoarthritis is effective and simPle, while manipulation combined with JianGu granule treatment is more effective and has good long-term efficacy. This PromPts combined oral administration with external treatment (manipulation treatment) is an effective treatment for knee osteoarthritis.
