| Objective:To establish the clinical nursing pathway of surgical operation to spontaneous pneumothorax, and evaluate the effects of clinical nursing pathway to length of hospital stay, expense of hospitalization and satisfaction of patients, and to provide the basis of clinical nursing pathway of surgical operation to spontaneous pneumothorax in our hospital. To establish continuity nursing of surgical operation to spontaneous pneumothorax, and evaluate the effects of continuity nursing to physical rehabilitation, satisfaction of patients, probability of choosing our hospital again and recommending others to choose our hosptical, and to provide the support in the next phase for application of Clinical Nursing Pathway and the guarantee to popularize the clinical management.Methods:Clinical care path form was established.30 patients with spontaneous pneumothorax who were hospitalized in cardiac surgery of our hospital between October,2010 and March,2011 were selected in observation group. All the selected patients were treated and nursed by clinical nursing pathway.60 histary patients with spontaneous pneumothorax who were hospitalized in cardiac surgery of our hospital and treated and nursed by routine methods between January,2010 and September.2011 were selected in control goup. Length of hospital stay, expense of hospitalization and satisfaction of patients were compared in both group. The continuity nursing mode of surgical operation to spontaneous pneumothorax was established. The patients with spontaneous pneumothorax who were treated and nursed by clinical nursing pathway were divided into continuity nursing group and control group. Patients in continuity nursing group received continuity nursing, and patients in control group were only inqueried by phone. the effects of continuity nursing to physical rehabilitation, satisfaction of patients, probability of choosing our hospital again and recommending others to choose our hosptical, and to provide the guarantee to popularize the clinical management were compared in both group.Results:Length of hospital stay and expense of hospitalization in continuity nursing group were significant (P<0.05). Length of hospital stay before operation and after operation were decreased from (4.2±1.5) and (11.4±2.5) day to (2.7±0.6) and (8.6±2.3) day, and total expense of hospitalization were decreased from￥(16423.1±1132.5) to￥(13782.4±760.4). The daily expense of hospitalization (P<0.05) and satisfaction of patients (P<0.05) in continuity nursing group were increased (P<0.05) compared to control group. The recovery station of patients in continuity nursing group was better than that in control group ((P<0.05)), the satisfaction score in satisfaction of patients was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). The patients in continuity nursing group would better recommend others to choose our hospital than those in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Clinical pathway of surgical operation to spontaneous pneumothorax can standard the medical service, shorten length of hospital stay, decrease expense of medical service, increase satisfication of patients, and worthy popularizing in clinic. Continuity nursing to surgical operation to spontaneous pneumothorax can promote the recovery of patients, increase satisfication of patients and reorganization to the hospital. |
