The three major components of anesthesia are analgesia, amnesia and immobilization. Modern anesthesia usually uses the combination medicine of analgesics, sedatives and muscle relaxants with independent dose, so each ingredient must be monitored in order to guarantee the achievement of clinical anesthesia target. There has been commercialized device in the area of muscle relaxation and sedation monitoring, and the device has been widely used in clinical. However, there isn't an ideal objective indicator for the assessment of "pain" or "analgesia" level during anesthesia though so far.In this paper, on the basis of the existing hardware platform, we aim to develop the software of the system using for monitoring patient's analgesic ingredient under anesthesia. By monitoring the patient's nociceptive parameters, doctors can determine the dose of analgesic drugs.The contents are follows:1. Introduction of anesthesia monitoring system and the methods of research, part of the existing monitoring methods are briefly described.2. The design and development of electrocardiogram's QRS detection, feature point of pulse wave detection algorithm, it also analyzes the timeliness of the Pan- Tompkins algorithm and the second derivative maximum algorithm.3. Analyze the requirements of the system and design the architecture of the software. A detail analysis is carried on the functional modules of the system. Then the software of cardiovascular multi-parameters monitoring system during anesthesia is finished.4. Based on the hardware of the system, design an experiment to verify the effectiveness and practical of the system.Experimental results show that software of cardiovascular multi-parameter monitoring system under anesthesia can calculate and display nociceptive parameters in real time. It also can reflect the changes in cardiovascular parameters after stimulating patients. Those verify the software of system finishing the expected targets.
