Object:Explore the risk factors and gram-negative bacteria resistant of ICU patients with VAP.Methods:147 cases of VAP patients from the ICU of our hospital were enrolled, we collected specimens of sputum or lower respiratory tract secretions,To classify and identify pathogens, resistance and relevant factors of VAP were analyzed.Result: 1152 strains of bacteria were detected (including fungi) from the 120 patients, and all from respiratory tract.Gram-negative bacilli accounted for 56.2% of them, the most common followed by the top 5:Pseudomonas aeruginosa 203, accounting for 31.33%, Klebsiella pneumoniae 97, accounting for 14.97%,74 Burkholderia cepacia, accounting for 11.42%, Acinetobacter spp 51, accounting for 7.87%,40 strains of Acinetobacter, accounting for 6.17%.This 5 gram-negative bacilli resistance rate to 12 antimicrobial:Cefoxitin had the highest total resistance rate(92.9%) and Meropenems' was the lowest. Many of the pathogens showed multi-drug resistance. The risk factors include age, hospitalization time, the application of antibiotics, basic diseases, ventilator and the application of a variety of tube time. Conclusion:Grasping common VAP pathogens, medicine sensitive information and related risk factors can effectively control VAP.Reduce ventilator use of time, as soon as possible to removal the in vitro catheter, shorter hospital stay, early treatment of basic diseases, reasonable use of antibiotics drugs can reduce the incidence of VAP.Early combination of broad-spectrum, anti-enzyme, and efficient antibiotics drugs, and using drugs according to the results of bacterial culture and sensitivity test is effective method to treat VAP.
