Objective:To investigate the effects of morrhate sodium and dehydrated alcohol on the intestinal mucosa and goblet cells of neo-bladder in rat model.Method:SD rats of 24 weighing about 250 grams were randomly divided into saline(A) , morrhate sodium (B), and dehydrated alcohol (C) groups. The drugs were injected to the neo-bladders at the 8th, 11th, and 14th day after the operation of neo-bladder reformation from ileum , and the urine in neo-bladder were collected at 72 hours following drug injection. The rats were terminated at the 17th day. The neo-bladder tissues were observed under the light microscopy and electron microscopy, and NF-кB expression in the tissues were detected by immunohistochemisty for comparing the degree of injury.Result:1. protein concentrations of group A were (4.48±0.56) mg/ml , group B were (1.21±0.07) mg/ml, and group C were (1.69±0.36)mg/ml, respectively(P<0.05).2. Microscopy, in group A,the intestinal mucosa was complete and intestinal villus was regular , muscular layer injury was not clear, the proportion of goblet cells is(0.31±0.03)/HP, in group B , the intestinal mucosa was not complete, and intestinal villus was disorder , the muscular layer have different degrees of damage, the proportion of goblet cells is(0.08±0.04)/HP , and in group C, the intestinal mucosa and muscular layer had a few of injury, the proportion of goblet cells was(0.12±0.05)/HP.3. The number of NF-кB positive cells were (27.88±7.68) in group A, (7.5±2.21) in group B , and (11.88±2.79) in group C, respectively(P<0.05).4. Under electron microscopy, in group A: the structure of microvilli were complete, organelle injury was not clear.in Group B: microvilli were not complete and cytoplasma were not clear. And in group C: microvilli became smaller and organelles injury is not clear.Conclusion:1. Morrhate sodium and dehydrated alcohol can both inhibited the early ileal neobladder mucus secretion2. Morrhate sodium is more suitable for irrigation of bladder of Neo-bladder than the alcohol.
