Objective: To study of the resuscitative time and of Vitamin C burn skin hair follicle epithelial cell apoptosis, and to explore its mechanisms in rats. Methods: Fifty Wistar male rats, weighing (200±20g), were remove back hair with 10% sodium sulfide, were randomly divided into five groups, 1) sham group; 2) in a timely manner the resuscitative group; 3) and timely resuscitative of Vitamin C group; 4) delayed resuscitation group; 5) vitamin C delayed resuscitation group. Detect the skin and Serum MPO, SOD, NOS activity and NO, MDA content changes, and rat skin morphological changes observed by light microscopy, immunohistochemistry, Bax/Bcl-2 staining and electron microscopy after 18h. Results: 1) Timely resuscitative and use of Vitamin C can reduce the serum and skin MPO activity; 2) Timely resuscitative and use of Vitamin C can reduce the serum and skin tissue MDA, increased SOD activity in serum and skin tissue; 3) Delayed resuscitative and use of Vitamin C can reduce the NO content in serum and skin; 4) Delayed resuscitative and use of Vitamin C can reduce the serum and skin TNOS activity and iNOS activity; 5) Timely resuscitative and use of Vitamin C can be reduce the expression of Bax and improve skin Bcl-2 expression. Conclusion: Timely resuscitative and joint use of large doses of Vitamin C on the skin's protective effect may inhibiting neutrophil aggregation, inhibition of lipid peroxidation and inhibition of skin cell apoptosis.
