Protective Effect Of Huangqi Injection In Children's Mechanical Ileus Ischemia-reperfusion Injury

ObjectiveTo Explore protective effect of Huangqi injection to children's mechanical ileus ischemia-reperfusion injury.Methods1. From January 2009 to January 2011,96 patients with mechanical ileus excepting ileus caused by innate factor were chose in this study.Among the 96 patients,29 cases are adhesion ileus,50 cases are intussusception,17 cases are incarcerated hernia, and who were divided into astragalus group (50 cases) and control group (46 cases).huangqi injection are given in Astragalus group and conventional drugs only are given in the control group during three days after surgery.2. Before surgery and in the third day after surgery,superoxide dismutase (SOD), two amine oxidase (DAO), single amine oxidase (MAO) and P-selectin were assayed in serum.3. Heart rate, temperature and recovery time of gastrointestinal function were observed every day after surgery, and numeration of leukocyte was reviewed in the third day after surgery.4. The changes of SOD, DAO, MAO, P-selectin and clinical index in astragalus group were compared to control group.Results1.Among SOD, DAO, MAO, P-selectin, compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant in astragalus group before surgery (P>0.05). Compared with SOD and DAO, astragalus group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01). Compared with MAO and p-selectin, astragalus group was significantly lower than the control group.2. Different diseases had correlation with SOD and MAO, P-selectin, but had nothing to do with DAO.Compared with SOD,MAO and P-selectin,incarcerated hernia had correlation with adhesion ileus(P<0.05), but it had DAO incarcerated hernia, adhesion ileus and Intussusception(P>0.05).3. Compared with the clinical index after surgery, they were better in the astragalus than in the control group.ConclusionHuangqi injection may enhance SOD, DAO activity, abate MAO activity, reduce P-selectin content of children's mechanical ileus after surgery, and improve inflammation response and systemic poisoning symptoms.It has protective effect to intestinal mucosa of children's mechanical ileus ischemia-reperfusion injury.
