Objective:To evaluate the outcome of transpedicular vertebral osteotomy on the top of kyphosis for correction of thoracolumbar spine kyphosis in ankylosing spondylitis。Methods:53 patients of thoracolumbar spine kyphosis in ankylosing spondylitis were treated with single-segment transpedicular vertebral osteotomy on the top of kyphosis and screw internal fixation. TO compare the difference by measuring the prooperive and postoperitive Cobb'S angle from T10 to L3,chin-brow vertical angle and height。Results:53 patients were successfully completed operation, the Cobb'S angle from T10 to L3 was decreased from 41.6±11.8°to-8.7±8.0°(p<0.05), the chin-brow vertical angle was decreased from 58.1±11.0°to 13.6±3.2°(p<0.05), the height was increased from 147.3±11.5 cm to 161.6±7.5cm(p<0.05), all patients could walk with forward vision and the loss of spinal sagittal balance were improved significantly。Conclusion:single-segment transpedicular vertebral osteotomy on the top of kyphosis combined with screw internal fixation is a safe and effective method for correction of thoracolumbar spine kyphosis in ankylosing spondylitis。... |
