For virtual reality technology, as an important branch of simulation virtual human is widely used in aviation, aerospace, military operations and training, medicine, education and other fields. In physical education, sports records and analysis fields, the virtual human motion simulation technology is still in the initial stage. The motion simulation of virtual human has a great significance in the fields of physical education, sports records and analysis, which plays an important role in regulate the motion and scientific exercise for students.The research on virtual human focuses on the model building, model analysis and motion control methods. Firstly, in the thesis, the standard human bone structure model is studied thoroughly. Through rationally simplified and assumptions, the body only retains the joints and degrees of freedom which can best embody movement characteristics of the human, a simplified virtual human model which has 16 bones is established. Using this model can reduce the research work and improve the virtual person movement simulation of real time. Secondly, the model is analyzed when virtual human running and walking, For virtual human walking model, keyframe movement states of the virtual human's upper limb, lower limb and pelvis are analyzed detailed. For virtual human running model, correct postures in the process of running at acceleration and at full speed after start are studied. Thus a research foundation for the motion control of virtual human is established. Again, the technical principle and realization method of inverse kinematics are discussed using human body joints chain model, each joint parent-child relationship is introduced. Parent-child relationship is very important to the movement of the virtual human. Through the analysis of motion control methods for the virtual human, a control method of virtual human combined parameter keyframe and inverse kinematics is adopted. On the basis of above method, the simulation of virtual human can be realized. Finally, using Visual C++,OpenGL and 3DS MAX, a simulation system of virtual human motion is designed and established,3DS file of the virtual human station using 3DS MAX established is imported into system. Then, the simulation of virtual human is realized.The results show that walking and running movement simulation of virtual human can be realized and the motion states of virtual human can be observed from different perspective and distances. Also the virtual human can be operated in the different models. In addition controlling the movement of virtual human and other human-computer interaction problem can be solved.
