| Objective1. To evaluate the character of color Doppler and frequency spectrum Doppler of the lower extremity arterial stenosis and occlusion diseases.2. To evaluate the coincidence of CDU and DSA for the diagnosis of the lower extremity arterial stenosis and occlusion diseases.Materials and methods1. Patients data:Collect sixty-two patients from Yantaishan Hospital who had the lower extremity arterial stenosis and occlusion diseases during January, 2008 to December, 2009 and 992 arterial segments were examined.2. Inspection methods:(1)Sixty-two patients were examined by CDU,and the obtained results were compared with DSA. Rechecked the patients who accepted the interventional therapy with CDU .Observed the color flow of the stenosis vascular before the therapy,measured the hemodynamics and compared with the data before the therapy.(2)All the analysis procedures were completed through SPSSl3.0 software.Results1.356 segment morbid arteries were discovered by CDU and 368 segment morbid arteries were discovered by DSA.2.The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negtive predictive value, and accuracy of CDU were 89.1%,95.5%,92.1%,93.7%,93.2%。3. Twenty-eight patients who accepted the interventional therapy were rechecked with CDU.CDFI showed that all the stenosis vascular before the therapy were visualized well. The velocity measured by PW decreased after the therapy and the occlusive arterial partial or complete recanalization.Conclusion1. CDU can make elementary diagnosis by B-mode, PW and CDFI.2. CDU has the same inspection effect as DSA on the diagnosis of the lower extremity arterial stenosis and occlusion diseases.3. As no radiation, no wound and repeatability, CDU may satisfy the clinical request of the diagnosis the lower extremity arterial stenosis and occlusion diseases and easily is accepted by the patients.CDU can also be the first choice after the intervention therapy.4. Because of the limitation of acoustic window and the influence of many factors, such as the adjustment of instrument and the technique of operator, there are some limitation to the diagnosis of the lower extremity arterial stenosis and occlusion diseases with CDU. |
