Clinical Analyze Of Endovascular Stent Placement In 20 Patients With Carotid Artery Stenosis Under Cerebral Protected Device.

Objective To summarize the safety and effectiveness of treating carotid artery stenosis with Carotid Artery Stenosis under cerebral protected device.Materials and Methods Retrospectively study were performed in 20 patients who had underwent CAS for severe carotid artery stenosis under cerebral protected device. Results 20 patients underwent carotid angioplasty and stent placement,20stents were placed in all patients.Pre -dilations were performed in 11 patients and Post-dilations were performed in 2 patients. Mean pre-procedural stenosis was 74.28±14.09% in whole 20 patients. mean post-procedural stenosis was 15.53±10.06%.The mean follow-up time was 15.3±5.6 months. and had no nervous system symptoms.Conclusion Percutaneous transluminal stenting for stenosis of internal carotid artery under cerebral protected device is safe and effective, however ,the long ternm effect needs to be proved by following .
