A Study On Quantitative Assessment Of Risk Factors For Chronic Pharyngitis Of Secondary School Teacher At Kunming

Objective To analyze the status of risk behaviors and the influence factors about middle school–teacher of chronic pharyngitis in Kunming, and to provide evidence for the prevention and intervention measure.Methods 200 cases were selected from at middle school–teacher in Kunming. According to the ratio of 1:1, the teachers and administration staff without suffering from chronic pharyngitis were chose. To Logistic regression analysis conducted to obtain odds ratios of various risk factors. Then to make the Odds Ratio into the Risk Score. Use Excel 2003 to set up the data, and use SPSS 17.0 to analyze the checked data. Descriptive statistical analysis, chi-square test, logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the statistic of survey.Results Among a teacher, the main influence factors of the teacher suffering from chronic pharyngitis are the duration of smoking, the exercise frequency per week, using the method of science phonation.Compared with the ordinary people, the main influence factors of the teacher suffering from chronic pharyngitis were the smoking, the sleep time, the exercise frequency per week, the duration of talk per diem, the dust in the working environment, using the method of science phonation, the negativity emotion and the frequency of upper respiratory infection. The smoking, the duration of talk per diem, the dust in the working environment and the frequency of upper respiratory infection were the risk factors. The sleep time, the exercise frequency per week and using the method of science phonation were the protective factors.Conclusion A teacher can be self-assessment, self-monitoring in time according to set up the risk factors for the risk scores table. According to the risk scores table, a teacher can choose the safety measures. So it can be effectively prevent from suffering from chronic pharyngitis.
