PURPOSE:To explore the function of fuantang which may relief the symptoms of POI and the mechanism related with mast cell.METHODS:【Model】The mice were anesthesiaed with chloralic hydras,then opened the peritoneal cavity.The small intestine was carefully exteriorised from the distal duodenum until the cecum and gently manipulated for 5 min using sterile moist to establish POI model.【Group】60 mice were selected and devided into 3 groups(n=20)randomly. A:matched group,B:model group and C: chinese medicine group.A1,B1 and C1 group may show the expression of HIS ,tryptase and the accountant and degranulation of mast cell .A2,B2 and C2 group may show the carbon powder moving rate and the activation of mpo after 6 hours of surgery.RESULTS:①The expression of tryptase in B1 (0.084±0.039)was much higher than C1(0.061±0.015)(P<0.01).The expression of tryptase in C1 was much higher than A1(0.045±0.0165)(P<0.01).②The expression of HIS of B1 (7.47±1.79)was much higher than C1. (5.94±1.42)(P<0.01).The expression of HIS in C1 had no difference with A1(4.96±1.3)(P>0.05).③A1:The degranulation phenomenon in mast cell can not been observed.B1:The degranulation phenomenon in mast cell can be obviously observed.C1:The degranularion phenomenon can be observed a little weeker than B1.④The activation of MPO in C2(3.9±0.96) was much lower than B2(7.10± 0.72)(P<0.01),but was a little higher than A2(1.57±0.14)(P<0.05).⑤The carbon powder moving rate show that C2(52.84±7.91) was much higher than B2(30.17±7.25)(P<0.01),but lower than A2(58.11±5.13)(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:①Fuantang may raise the carbon powder moving rate of mice model,improve intestinal peristalsis,relief the symptoms of POI.②Fuantang may inhaibit the inflammation via reducing the degranulation of mast cell in mice model of POI.③Inhabiting the inflammation induced by the degranulation of mast cell is an important mechanism for fuantang treating POI.
