Objective: Sepsis is now considered as a crucial cause of death in patients. Although now medical technology level has been well developed, morbidity and mortality of sepsis remain high. Since the 1970s, domestic researchs showed that combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment can achieve remarkable curative effect. According to the theory of TCM syndrome differentiation. This reseach through the inspection before and after the treatment of patients with plasma CEC counts,TGF-bate1,organ, and APACHEⅡscores discussion Fu-Zheng-Gu-Ben and Western medicine treatment sepisi with acute deficiency syndrome cell factors and endothelial cell injury research and clinical curative effect. Methods:Select with standard of the 54 patients be treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, Emergency wards and emergency intensive care unit (EICU),From March 2010 to March 2011. Divided into two groups atrandom.including 32 cases in treatment group and control group 22 cases. The treatment group exclusive shen qi fu zheng Injection 250ml to QD and the control group using conventional treatment were treated by western medicine treatment. Test CEC amounts,TGF-β1, and record the data before therapy and on the 3rd,7th,14thday after therapy, evaluate patients with APACHEⅡScores, changes of organ functions record the result of patients after 28 days'mortality rates , divided them into two groups according to their prognosis, to study the clinical observation with Fu-Zheng-Gu-Ben on septic acute deficiency syndrome patients. SPSS 17.0 software was used for statistic.Results:①The two groups before treatment of patients, CEC count increased significantly no obvious difference, both of groups CEC count is increasing on 3rd,7th the treatment group lower than before treatment and control group on 14th day(P<0.05).②The two groups before treatment of patients, TGF–β1 content increased , both of groups TGF–β1 content is increasing on 3rd,7th. the treatment group than controls rises slow, After treatment 14th than before treatment decline.but compare between groups within and two groups had no significant differences( P> 0.05).③Before treatment no significant difference existed in APACHEⅡscores between the two groups. They were all decreased after treatment. But the scores of treatment group (6.65±2.11) was much lower than that of control group(15.41±3.31) on 14th day(P<0.05). there was a significant difference.④Before treatment no significant difference existed in CK,CK-MB,ALT,AST,CRE,Urea between the two groups. They were all improved after treatment. the CK,CK-MB of treatment group got better improved than control group on 14th day.⑤the 28 days'mortality rates of treatment group37.50% was much lower than that of control group63.64% (P<0.05).Conclusions:①Septic patients damaged vascular endothelial cells, CEC count increased, The Fu-Zheng-Gu-Ben on septic patients can protective vascular endothelial cell.②TGF–β1 in septic sufferers can rise early.③T he Fu-Zheng-Gu-Ben for septic patients with the viscera function certain protective effect.④The Fu-Zheng-Gu-Ben could improve sepsis symptoms and reduce mortality.
