Objective Detect the distribution of influenza virus sialo-receptors (SAa2,3-gal and SAα2,6-gal) in humam, mouse, chicken and duck by qualitative and quantitative analysis. Methods SAa2,3-gal and SAa2,6-gal receptors were measured by using the plant lectins MAA-Ⅰ, MAA-Ⅱ, SNA and marked with by Fluorescein Avidin DCS, while the nucleus marked with DAPI, the results were analysed by using qualitative and quantitative methods. Results The receptors marked by above three lectins expressed almost everywhere in tracheas and lungs of human, mouse, chicken and duck. There have some difference only on the positive rate. Discussion The difference between our data and other results may be caused by follow reasons:researchers always use qualitative methods to detect receptors, which may be easily affected by researchers'subjective factors. Our results also imply that determinants for tissue and host tropism of influenza viruses are more complex than what have been generally accepted and the results may suggest that the influenza receptors'expression is widespread in tissue, only difference is density of distribution. Conclusion Using quantitative methods for determing the distribution of influenza virus sialo-receptors will provide a better understanding of tissue and host tropism of influenza viruses. Objective:To observe the expression of mouse influenza gene in influenza patients and decision the gene express consistency between mouse and human. Methods: Extract the RNA of influenza patients' blood and reverse transcript it to cDNA, detect the expression of 6 mouse influenza genes by real-time PCR in influenza patients. Results: The 6 mouse influenza genes are all expressed in influenza patients, and their expression are different in different time. Conclusion:The study indicate that it may induce complicated reaction when people infected the influenza virus, and some genes may as a biological marker used for influenza specificity diagnosis. The result also indicate that there have some similarity in gene expression between mouse and human.
