Objective:To discuss the clinical curative effect on Acute Leukemia with hyperactivity of virulent heat-evil by Eight-Treasure Decoction combined with Chemothrapy with Western Medicine.Methods:80 cases of in-patients with Acute Leukemia from June 2010 to March 2011 were selected and divided into two groups randomly:40 Western Medicine as control group, and 40 cases were treated by Eight-Treasure Decoction combined with Chemothrapy with Western Medicine as treatment group, then observed the side-effect,the remission rate after chemotherapy, serum LDH andβ2-MG levels of the acute lymphocytic leukemia patients befor and after chemotherapy. Moreover, all of above werecompared between therapeutic and control group.Results:1. The appearance of side-effects in the therapeutic group is lower than the normal subject and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).2. The complete remission(76.32%) in the therapeutic group was higher obviously than those (52.50%) of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).3. The difference of serum LDH andβ2-MG levels of the acute lymphocytic leukemia patients between the therapeutic group and the control group befor chemotherapy seems of less signif icance(P>0.05). serum LDH andβ2-MG levels of the patients in the therapeutic group after chemotherapy was obviously lower than the control group and the difference was signif icance(P<0.05).4. The serum LDH andβ2-MG levels of the acute lymphocytic leukemia patients in PR group were higher than those in NR group, but lower than those in CR group, and the difference was signif icance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Eight-Treasure Decoction combined with chemothrapy is effective in treating acute leukemia, which can decreases the side-effects of chemotherapy, increase remission rate, and it's signif icant for the acute lymphocytic leukemia patients to judge the prognosis.
