| Objective:Investigate and compare the clinical effect on Primary Liver Cancer(PLC) after transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) treated by Kangai Xiaozheng granules, find out the advantage of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in, in order to provide a new way for further improvement of diagnosis and treatment with in integrated traditional and western medicine.Methods:52 cases of PHC, were randomly divided into two groups, there are no statistically differences in age, sex, stage of the disease, and size of tumor between two groups (P> 0.05).23 cases in control group, treated with TACE and western medicine including symptomatic treatment (basic treatment); While 29 cases in treatment group, besides basic treatment, treated by Kangai Xiaozheng granules, comparision of the change of postembolization syndrome was carried out 2 weeks later after TACE. Comparision of effectiveness in tumor size reduction was carried out 4 weeks later. And Compare the change of Liver function test, and blood routine test before and two weeks after TACE.Results:according to therapeutic effect evaluation standard, the effectiveness of tumor size reduction of treatment group was 79.3% as compared to 78.3% in control group, there was no significant difference between two groups (P> 0.05). In relief of postembolization syndrome, the treatment group was superior to control group (P< 0.05), there were more symptoms had been relived in treatment group. In liver function and blood routine test, treatment group do much better than control group, both results had significant differences.Conclusions:taking Kangai Xiaozheng granules on PHC following TACE can significantly alleviate the clinical symptoms after the TACE and improve the quality of patient life. It is also able to enhance the patient compliance, and increase the possibility of long living with tumor. This indicates the relevance of the therapy of KangaiXiaozheng granules is effective. |
