Assesment Of Quality Of Life On Post-operation Patients With Moderate Or Severe Endometriosis Assisted Different Drugs

Objective: To study the improvement of quality of life on post~operation patients with moderate or severe endometriosis using GnRHa or Gestrinone.Methods: 66 post-operation patients with moderate or severe endometriosis were devided into two groups: 32 cases in group A accepted GnRHa for 3 months,while 34 cases in group B accepted Gestrinone for 3 months. Each patients filled a questionnare about life quality 1 week before surgery,each was followed 3 and 6 months after operation.Besides necessary examination, each was asked to fill the questionnare named World Health Organization Quality of Life Assesment-Bref. The score of the questionnare as well as the treatment effect and side effect were analized.Results:1 Patients in both groups had good remission, there was no statistical difference between them(P>0.05).2 The scores in the field of physical,psychological were significently higher at 3 months and 6 months postoperation than that preoperation(P<0.05).The scores in the field of physical, psychological were significently higher at 3 months postoperation in group Gestrinone than that in group GnRHa(P<0.05).3 The scores in the fields of physical and psychological were significently higher at 6 postoperation than that preoperation or 3 months postoperation in group A(P<0.05).4 The total scores of life quality scores were significiently higher in group B than that in group A at different months(P<0.05);the qulity of life increased with time after operation in both group . 5 There were significiently more side effects such as hot flash, colpoxerosis, and less sex desire in group A than that in group B(P<0.05).6 There were significiently the function of ovary recoverd earlier after treatment in those who accepted Gestrinone than those who accepted GnRHa.Conclusion:1 The qulity of life is much better in those post~operation patients with moderate or severe endometriosis who accepted Gestrinone than those who accepted GnRHa.2 There were more side effects in those who accepted GnRHa than those who accepted Gestrinone.3The function of ovary recoverd earlier after treatment in those who accepted Gestrinone than those who accepted GnRHa.
