Application of aromatic plants in the garden has a long history. As society progresses, people more concerned about the health functions of aromatic. Gardens of The paper is to evaluate the hypotensive effect of natural incense released from aromatic plants which mainly consist of Lavandula angustifolia, Pelargonium graveolens, Origanum majorana,Spearmint,Rugosa Rose and Ocimum basilicum, and provide experimental data and theoretical evidence for the hypotensive effect of aromatic plants nature incense. After the project area for aromatic plants with benefits of lowering blood pressure and mental stress were completed during the vigorous plant growth period month of May, an experiment was made where 38 volunteers with mild hypertension participated in an aroma test. Statistical significances (P<0.05) have been observed in comparison of systolic and diastolic pressures. Analysed with SCL90, the decrease of different degrees was confirmed in each index, and total symptom index and body symptoms decreased significantly (P<0.05). Aromatic plants nature incense has functioned actively for blood pressure reduction and subjects' mental outlook. To determine components of natural fragrance in blood pressure reducing aroma zone of aromatic plants, dynamic headspace sampling method was firstly adopted to collect the natural living fragrance over the plants in the aroma zone and also at the same time the natural gas over the Festuca arundinacea Schreb lawn that is of the same area and about 5 kilometres far away, then fragrance of the two samples priorly collected were released using Thermal Desorption Spectroscopy method and finally identified and analysized by GC/MS. The result shows that in aroma zone, more than 23 types of fragrance component are present with content exceeding 1%. Limonene, Linalool, A-Pinene, Citronellol, 1,8-Cineol, Ethanol,Linalyl acetate and Methyl hexadecanoate are top 8 components in content, and their contents all exceed 3%. In the Festuca arundinacea Schreb lawn zone, 14 types of components exist in content exceeding 1% with content of Myrcene, A-limonene, A-terpinene, Paracymene and Sabinene higher than 3%. Area-specific gas composition for the buck Linalool, Terpinolene, 1,8 -cineole ,Linalyl acetate,Myrcene and A-pinene etc., can be from the true lavender, geraniol geranium, sweet oregano And sweet basil essential oils found in such.
