Objective To investigate the expression of Kv1.3 and Kv1.5 channels in rat macrophages cell line NR8383 cells under the stimulation of bleomycin. Methods: Cultured the NR8383 cells in vitro. Then,(1) five grouped cells were treated with BLM in five different drug concentrations ( 0,0.1,1.0,10,100 mU/ml ); (2) treated cells in four groups with NS, DEX, DEX+BLM and BLM, respectively. Following above, detected the mRNA and protein of Kv1.3 and Kv1.5 channels by Real time PCR and Western blot. Results: (1) Kv1.3 and Kv1.5 expressed in the NR83683 cells. (2) Compared with the control group, the expression of Kv1.5 channels increased under the stimulation of bleomycin. Conclusion: Kv channels in alveolar macrophages may play a role in lung fibrosis induced by bleomycin.
