Brain is the central nervous system of human, brain injury lead to death and disability highly. Especially in recent years, with economic development and social progress,death owing to head injury are rapidly increasing, which have brought great loss and injury to the social and family . So clarifying the biomechanical mechanism of brain injury becomes particularly important.In order to investigate the biomechanical brain impact injury mechanisms, this paper first reviews the domestic and international studies on the brain injury biomechanics research. Then it summaries the ralated physiological anatomy structure and biomechanical properties of the brain.Through a series of suppositions and effective simplification, this article established an axisymmetric head impact model, Then study its stress,stain and displacement's response under the triangular pulse load. The results confirmed cavitation thery and agreement with the experimental results. On the other hand ,this paper established an finite element model ,to study a movement head'response after hitting on a stationary object. Results clearly reflect the stress wave propagation and diffusion process ,and show that the damage occurred not only by local ,but in the direction of propagation of stress wave .This is in agreement with the existing literature and clinical medicine.
