18 Years Retrospective Clinical Analysis Of Total Knee Arthroplasty In China-Japan University Of Jilin University

Objective:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 354 knees during past 18 years, to study the history of total knee replacement the present situation and cases characteristics in our centerMethods:From January 1993 to December 2001,354 knees were performed all patients in our center. Analysis patients, prosthesis types and constitute factors such as operation technology and the characteristics of the historical evolutionResults:From January 1993 to December 2001,354 knees were performed all patients in our center There were 188 unilateral TKRs in 188 patients, and 146 bilateral TKRs in 73 patients.6 cases of non-replacement of 12 knees over the same period Patients in our group also had several kinds of severe deformities such as varus deformity with dislocation or medial plateau defect, valgus deformity, flexion contracture of knee, flexion deformity with bony fusion, flexion bony fusion with subluxation and deformity in the low extremities with multiple joints inv olved injunior ankylopoietic spondylarthrisis (JAS) patients and junior rheumatic arthritis (JRA) patients. revision total knee arthroplasty in 8 cases, infection were the reasons for 8 cases looseness for lcase. In the province the joint replacement crowd to concentrate in Changchun area, other local patient quantity are few, and scattered. Male 67 feminine 204:RatioⅡ3.3. Age biggest 82 years old, youngest 18 years old, average 59.67±12.64 year old. There is 1 knees during 1993, Increasing 96 knees in 2010. Seven doctors have launched this surgery independently, and the TKR number grows year by year.Implants type:constrained condylar implants 7 knees,non-constrained condylar implants 337 knees. Early domestic prosthesis specific type is unknown 10knees. Import implant 215 knees;Domestically produced implants 139 knees. The surgery number most in 2010 imports the phantom use quantity to use quantity compared to the domestically produced phantom is 1.18:1. For totalknee arthroplasty, the average duration of surgery declined from 132.63±24.95minutes during 2000-2006 to 104.33±26.89 minutes during 2007-2010.and the average duration of surgery was 165 minutes during 1993-1999. Conclusion:The total knee replacement account for most women in part. In the province the joint replacement crowd to concentrate in Changchun area,because of Economic and medical environment Domestic prosthesis to play an increasingly important role The average primary total knee arthroplasty and revison total knee arthroplasty caseload has been increased. For total knee arthroplasty, the average duration of surgery declined from 1655minutes during 2000-2006 to 104.33±26.89 minutes during 2007-2010. We could find no significant differences in age and diagnosis constitution between foreign literature study. we found, that low-molecular-weight heparins is decreasing the number of deep vein thrombosis after the total knee arthroplasty.
