Objective:To observe the changes of leptin and blood lipid in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) before and after the operation. Used for early screening and diagnosis of OSAHS, long-term evaluation of surgical treatment.Method:1.24 patients with OSAHS were selected, age:25-61(43.37±9.32) years old, BMI:25.91±2.73kg/M2. All of the OSAHS patients with nocturnal snoring, apnea and excessive daytime sleepiness were diagnosed by fibrolaryngoscope and poly somnogr-aphy (PSG).2.22 patients with OSAHS after the operation were selected(six months to one year after surgery), age:23±62(42.67±10.25) years old, BMI:24.68±2.52kg/M2. All patients were monitored by polysomnography(PSG).3.20 healthy subjects were selected as the control group, age:21-60 (42.69±9.64) years old, BMI:23.78±2.66kg/M2.Cubital vein blood(6ml) was obtained from all subjects after PSG within the following 10minutes in the next morning. Using ELISA to detect serum leptin level and automatic biochemical analyzer to detect blood lipid level (total cholestein TC, triglyceride TG, low-density lipoprotein cholestein LDL-C, high-density lipoprotein cholestein HDL-C). Differences in parameters were assessed by software SPSS 17.0, and F-test was adopted Furthermore, correlation between two variables using linear correlation analysis. P<0.05 has statistics significance.Results:1. The level of HDL-C of patients with OSAHS was increased, The leptin,TG,TC and LDL-C were decreased than the operated patients with OSAHS. There was statistical significance (P<0.01).2. The level of leptin,TG,TC,HDL-C and LDL-C in operated patients with OSAHS as well as the control group. There was no statistical significance (P>^O.05). 3. The linear correlation analysis show:The patients with OSAHS:Plasma leptin level was positively correlated with AHI(r=0.547); and was negatively correlated with minimal SaO2(r=-0.334); the Body Mass Index (BMI) level was positively correlated with the plasma leptin (r=0.384);and TC level was positively correlated with the plasma leptin (r=0.636); and TG level was positively correlated with the plasma leptin (r=0.524); and LDL-C level was positively correlated with the plasma leptin (r=0.671);Plasma leptin level was negatively correlated with HDL-C(r=-0.723), TC level was positively correlated with AHI(r=0.692);and was negatively correlated with minimal SaO2(r=-0.254); TG level was positively correlated with AHI(r=0.734); and was negatively correlated with minimal SaO2 (r=-0.482);LDL-C level was positively correlated with AHI(r=0.587); and was negatively correlated with minimal SaO2 (r=-0.143); HDL-C level was negatively correlated with AHI (r=-0.625); and was positively correlated with minimal SaO2 (r=0.175).Conclusions:The disorder of the leptin and blood lipid existed in the patients with OSAHS. But it has approved that the improvement of the leptin and blood lipid level after the operated OSAHS patients ofⅠtype andⅡtype. Anoxic symptom was ameliorated. Detection of leptin and blood lipid contribute to OSAHS patients with early screening, prevention of complications, using in the OSAHS patients for epidemiological survey indicators. And long-term evaluation of surgical treatment...
