Objective:By observing ECG changes on the rabbits after inducing rapid arrhythmia and measuring the levels of the mRNA expression of al subunit of L-type calcium channels in cardiac muscle,to discusses the effect and the prevention mechanicsm of zaoboling capsule on the arrhythmia.Methods:New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups: blank group,model group,zaoboling group,verapamil group,6 each.Used the aconitine to induce arrhythmia in rabbits,Observed and recorded the time of the emergence of ventricular arrhythmia.measured the levels of the mRNA expression of al subunit of L-type calcium channels in cardiac muscle.Results:(1)Zaoboling group and verapamil group compared with the model group,the emergence of ventricular arrhythmia was delayed obviously,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);zaoboling group compared with verapamil group,the emergence of ventricular arrhythmia had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)(2)Model group compared with blank group,the level of the mRNA expression of L-type calcium channels in cardiac muscle was remarkably increased(P<0.05);zaoboling group and verap-amil group compared with the model group,the level of the mRNA expression of L-type calcium channels in cardiac muscle was signif- ycantly decreased(P<0.01); zaoboling group compared with verapa- mil group,the level of the mRNA expression of L-type calcium chan- nels did no change significantly(P>0.05)Conclusion:Zaoboling capsule was showed to delaye the em- ergence of ventricular arrhythmia,reverse the abnormal mRNA expression of L-type calcium channels induced by aconitine.It may be related to the activity of L-type calcium cha- nnels, Slow the rate of open channel,reduce Ca2+ inward current,and stabilize the transmembrane potential of the cardiac myocyte.
