An Experimental Study Of Effect On The TNF-α, IL-1β And C-Fos In The Hippocampus Of Depressed Model Rats By Suanzaorentang Decoction

Obj ective:By observing Suanzaorentang rat model of depression in TNF-α, IL-1B, c-fos expression and explore its mechanism of prevention and treatment of depression.Methods:The experimental method of reproduction by chronic stress rat model of depression, the election body weight, behavior similar to scores of female Wistar rats of clean grade 72, were randomly divided into 6 groups namely control group, model group, and Suanzaorentang high, The low dose group. The first 28 days in the experimental rats were killed and brains were removed, was determined by immunohistochemistry TNF-a, IL-1β, c-fos expression.Results:Compared with the control group, model group were slower weight gain (P <0.01), behavior of the horizontal movement and vertical movement reduce the number of times, there was significant difference (P＜0.01); compared with the control group, model Group to reduce sugar consumption, there was significant difference (P＜0.01); compared with the control group, model group hippocampus TNF-a, IL-1β, c-fos expression increased, there was significant difference (P<0.01). Suanzaorentang high, medium, low and clomipramine group increased body weight growth rate, sugar consumption and behavior of sports scores, there was significant difference (P<0.01), Suanzaorentang high, the group can reduce the hippocampus TNF-a, IL-1β, c-fos expression, there was significant difference (P <0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusions:Suanzaorentang can reduce hippocampal TNF-a, IL-1β, c-fos expression, its antidepressant mechanism may regulate the immune system function and Inhibition of apoptosis in hippocampal neurons, reduce brain injury.
