Clinical Research Of Primary Osteoporosis Treated By Jinguishenqiwan-Calglucon

Objective:To research the clinical therapeutic effect of Jinguishenqiwan-Calglucon on primary osteoporosis.Methods:60 patients diagnosed with primary osteoporosis were randomly divided into two groups. The intervention group of 30 patients was treated by oral Jinguishenqiwan 6g Bid and Calglucon 1g Tid. The control group of 30 patients was treated by oral Calglucon 1g Tid. Course of treatment was 6months. The changes of clinical symptomatic scales and bone mineral density(BMD)after the treatment were observed.Results:The symptomatic scales in two groups decreased significantly after treatment (P<0.01), with more obvious symptomatic amelioration in intervention group than control group (P<0.05). The BMD of femoral bones in two groups increased compared with before the treatment (P<0.05), with more obvious symptomatic amelioration in intervention group (P<0.05). The biochemical indicator(Ca,P,ALP)in 2 groups has no marked difference compared with before the treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Jinguishenqiwan can remarkably raise the BMD of osteoporosis patients and improve clinical symptoms, effectively preventing and treating osteoporosis.
