Wuwei Shouwu Capsules In Treatment Of Hyperlipidemia (Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency) Clinical Study

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the Patients with hyperlipidemia who has taken wuwei shouwu capsules,and objectively evaluate its efficacy and safety of treatment,in order to explore a kind of traditional Chinese medicine mixture which is safe,reliable and suitable for the treatment of hyperlipidemia, and explore its mechanism for hyperlipidemia in clinical therapy.Methods:60 cases were selected from the Department of Cardiology, the eighth ward inpatient cases of the Jiangsu medicine hospital between 2010 January to January 2011.According to the diagnostic criteria of the patients with hyperlipidemia, randomly divided into two groups, treatment group and control group. The treatment group was maked up of 30 patients,30 patients in control group, The two groups both request low-salt, low-fat diet, the treatment group was given wuwei shouwu capsules, with symptomatic treatment,the control group was given atorvastatin calcium with symptomatic treatment.Course of two months.Record values before and after treatment in patients with serum triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein(LDL), hlgh denslty lipoprotein(HDL), At the same time, compare the blood lipid levels of the two groups before and after treatment.According to the appropriate diagnostic criteria, make observation.To observe the general physical examination before and after treatment items, such as body temperature(T), pulse(P), respiration(R), blood pressure(BP), blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, heart function, liver function, kidney function, eleetrolyte analysis,ECG and adverse reactions.And make safety assessment.Results:There were no significant difference between the two groups in reducing TC,TG,LDL-C(P>0.05), They both have significant effects.But the study found that there were a significant difference in the reduction of HDL-C between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05). The treatment group was significantly better than the control group.Two points after treatment of Chinese medicine symptoms were significantly lower than before treatment, statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The two groups before and after treatment in Chinese medicine symptoms integration of their respective groups were compared before treatment was no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05), treatment group after treatment was significantly lower than the control group, there is a significant differences(P<0.05). Shows that the two groups before and after the traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of patients with symptoms of points are markedly reduced.But the treatment group was significantly lower than in the control group.In the side-effects, the treatment group had one case of gastroenteric reaction..The control group had 2 eases of gastrointestinal reaction and 2 cases of unusual increase in ALT and AST.The two groups were significantly different(P<0.05).The incidence of side effects of the control group was significantly higher than that of the treatment group.Using both Wuwei shouwu capsules and atorvastatin calcium can reduce the occurrence of side effects.Conclusion:By contrast with using atorvastatin calcium, using both Wuwei shouwu capsules and atorvastatin calcium can not only effectively achieve the objectives of intensive lipid-lowering, but also improving TCM symptoms reduce side effects.
