Objective:To analyze the pathogenetic mechanism, diagnosis and treatments of traumatic cerebral infarction.Research objects and Methods: A11 the 20 cases were sufferers of traumatic cerebral infarction, who came from the department of Neurosurgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, during September 2009 and March 2011.They were analyzed retrospectively.Among of these cases,12 cases were male,and 8 cases were female; About the age,the youngest one was 6 years old and the oldest one was 75 years old, the average age was 36.2 years old. Among of them,9 cases were below 12 years old,6 cases were between 12 and 60 years old, only 5 cases were over 60 years old. Meanwhile,according to GCS standard:12 cases were between 13 and 15 points,4 cases were between 9 and 12 points,4 cases were between 3 and 8 points;Results:According to different degree of patients with cerebral infarction, we took surgery or nonoperative therapy. Following GOS standard of 20 patients,10 patients recovered their health completely (50.0%),5 patients were in good condition (25.0%), 3 patients were moderately disabled (15.0%), and 2 patients were severely disabled (10.0%), no deaths existed.Conclusion:Traumatic cerebral infarction is a common complication of craniocerebral trauma, By taking timely pre-protection measures,making early diagnosis and adopting proper treatments,we can reduce the morbidity and mortality of patients and improve the results to a great degree.
