It benefits the research of morbidity, determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs, treatment perscription, precaution and regulation, which will have prolonged theoretical and practical referred value and also express the"individual concerned therapy"characteristic of traditional Chinese medicine.Method: This research can be divided into two parts: The prophase of this study is to establish a data bank through using the materials in medical record library, arranging clinical document, applying statistical software spss 16.0 to make the statistical analyses. The anaphase is to retrieval literature, test the result of statistical correlation in theoretical part, investigate the mark chacteristic between age, gender, and body constitution and diseases, pattern of symptoms, therapeutic method, and multiple symptoms in pulmonary system.Result: This study based on traditional Chinese medical basic theory, internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, and other ancient books and records of traditional Chinese medicine, applied medical statistical method to analyse clinical case and common diseases in pulmonary system in modern clinical medicine, which produced many results, such as there was no significant relation between gender and the incidence of asthma, but related to the age; Lung cancer had a strong relation with gender; Significant difference appeared in the age at which chronic obstructive pulmonary disease occured; There was a closed relation between interstitial lung disease and the body constitution.Conclusion: Many significant differences were found between different people and different diseases in pulmonary system in this study, for example: There are more children patients in patients with bronchial asthma; more aged people have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, for which the pathogenetic condition is getting worse and worse with the growing of the age; Interstitial lung disease is often found in middle age people; The patients with lung cancer in aged people are more common than those in other age group; And also no significant difference is there between the incidence rate of bronchial asthma and gender, which indicates that the morbidity in male and female is roughly equal; While the number of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in male is larger than that in female.
