Objective To investigate the expression of TGF-α,EGFR and TFF2 in gastric carcinoma, and explore the relationship among TGF-α,EGFR and TFF2 expression in gastric cancer. Methods 101 cases of gastric carcinoma were collected, the expression of EGFR and TGF-αin normal gastric tissue,cancer-adjacent tissues and gastric cancer, the TFF2 expression in gastric cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry SABC assay, the relation between EGFR and TGF-αexpression and various clinicopathologic parameters and TFF2 were analyzed. Results 1.And the expression of EGFR of normal gastric tissue,cancer-adjacent tissues and gastric cancer specimens were 25.0%,92.5% and 57.4%, there was significant relation among three groups (P<0.01). The expression TGF-αwere 15.0%,73.6% and 49.5%, there was significant relation among three groups (P<0.01).2. The expression of EGFR and TGF-αwas not correlated with sex, age, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis of tumor (P>0.05).3. he positive expression rates of EGFR and TGF-αwere related to the degree of differentiation(P<0.05).4. The expression of EGFR and TFF2 was positive correlation (P<0.01).5. here was no correlation between TGF-αand TFF2(P>0.05), while the expression of EGFR and TFF2 was positive correlation(P<0.05).Conclusions 1.The positive expression rates of EGFR and TGF-αwere related to the degree of differentiation. The results suggested that it was possible that the expression of EGFR and TGF-αrelated to the prognostic of patients.2. The expression of EGFR,TGF-αand TFF2 played an certain role on the development of gastric cancer.
