Objectives:Make further research on the role of the Method of Replenishing Qi To Invigorate Spleen Therapy combined with enteral nutrition in nutritional support of critically ill patients,by observing the changes in nutritional indicators after the treatment, thus provide the evidence for the use of Chinese medicine in the treatment of critically ill patients. Methods:Reviewed 60 cases of Critically Ill Patients with clinical data integrity who come from the Medical Group Qingdao Hiser Hospital of ICU from April in 2010 to January in 2011.According to the unified diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of patients selection,we randomly divided them into two groups, namely, one group received nourishment support only as control, the other group received nourishment support combined with Chinense medicine to Replenish Qi To Invigorate Spleen as experiment.Detecting these nutritional markers as follows in two groups on the first day before the nourishment therapy,on the fifth day and the tenth day after treatment.Marker:Total protein(TP),Albumin(ALB),Preabumin(PA),Hemoglobin(Hb) and so on.Statistical method:describing all the datum with meant±variance,if P<0.05,the difference is significant.Results:1. No matter five days or ten days after the treatment, the nutrition indicators such as PA,TP of the control group and PA,TP,ALB of the treatment group have improved significantly, comparisons were significantly different (p<0.001),there were statistical significance. The ALB of the control group have the tendency to increase, but no statistical significance(p>0.05). 2. No matter five days or ten days after the treatment, the nutrition indicators such as PA,TP and ALB of the control group have improved significantly than the treatment group, comparison were significantly different (p<0.001),there was statistical significance.3. There were no side effects and complications in the treatment. Conclusions:Using the Chinese medicine of Replenishing Qi To Invigorate Spleen Therapy combined with enteral nutrition is better than using enteral nutrition only in the speed and the effectiveness of the nutrition recovery. It is Confirmed that there is future prospects in the Chinese medical nutrition in the critically ill patients. |
