This paper collects data from public databases for ChinaPathDB, and analyzes it in bioinformatic ways. The data preparation work mainly focuses on collecting and integrating transcriptomic data of parasites. The research carries on in three different aspects. First, predicts Protein-protein Interaction (PPI) networks both of Schistosma japonicum and Schistosoma mansoni according to their protein sequence similarities to Caenorhabditis elegans. The predicated PPI networks will convenience future research about this subject. Second, predicts possible receptor proteins in four species, including Cryptosporidium parvum, Plasmodium falciparum, Schistosoma japonicum and Schistosoma mansoni. The specific Receptor Databases used are GPCRDB, NucleaRDB, PrionDB and KChannel from MCSIS. In the last part, we construct hemoglobin degradation pathways of Schistome japonicum and Schistosoma mansoni based on Plasmodium falciparum. Conserved domains structure prediction of Schistosome hemoglobinase by homology modeling and substrate fragments structure ensure a promising future of proteinase-substrate interaction analysis on three dimensional level. |
