This article describes the basic knowledge and method of the fracture fixation, screws and plates based on the AO principle, and elaborate the biomechanical properties of bone in detail. Biomechanics is an independent new discipline, it mainly studies biological effect of force. Strain measurement method is a mechanical test method commonly used, it is also practical and effective in the field of biological engineering, it can be used to test the stability of fracture fixation in the orthopedic field.Fractures fixation are divided into two fixation ways, that are internal fixation and external fixation, in which the plate connecting in internal fixation turns to be one of the most commonly used ways in fracture treatment, nails can't be set due to comminuted fractures of screws in internal fixation, resulting in setting nails difficultiy or can't set nails, screws emptying case is common when we fix plate. In order to study the stress influence of femur fracture which is treated by plate connecting in different screw number, we can take twenty-seven person's femur as specimens, they are processed into three types of fractures, that is, the fracture in one suture, two sutures and three sutures.Experimental samples use plate-screw fracture fixation method to carry out fracture fixing, the samples can be subdivided into nine fracture states by screw number into the bone and number of joint. Carrying out vitro experiment by electrical measuring method,we carry out compression,bending and torsion loading respectively to the examples in each state, measure and record the strain's indicating value fixed plate surface, analysis and compare the indicating value, simultaneously combine fracture datas of clinical patients, comprehensively analysis the the stress influence of femur fracture which is treated by steel-screw connecting in different screw number. It plays a guiding role in the internal fixation device selection of long bone of non-selection fracture and follow-up treatment of empty screw plate connectting, and provide a new basis as to regulate adaptation disease and contraindications of long bone fracture treatment by plate connection.Finally, to analyze the causes of failure of plate-screw internal fixation and propose improvement measures, which greatly improves the accuracy of the test.
