| Corn stalks are important livestock feed and industrial raw materials. At present, the corn stalks are mainly harvested by stalks pick-up device added to a corn harvester, and this device picks up corn stalks as the corn ears are being harvested. The gathered stalks have an amount of trash content and are unsuitable for livestock feed or industrial raw materials. So self-propelled corn combine reaping corn ears and stalks is in badly need on the current market.Referencing to the domestic and foreign advanced technologies and considering the planting characteristics in China, an overall plan and a transmission scheme of the corn combine reaping corn ears and stalks prototype are proposed. A double header is adopted in the scheme. Corn ears are picked up by snapping rolls on the upper header and delivered in turn the first elevator, the first transverse screw conveyor, the second elevator and the second transverse screw conveyor,and then peeled by peeler. At last the corn ears slip into the grain box to complete the corn ears harvesting. The stalks are cut off by reciprocating cutterbar on the underneath header and gathered by screw conveyor and conveyed by unilateral-multi rollers, then chopped and cast by a flat-straight blade to complete the stalks harvesting. Both the upper and the underneath header are adjustable in height independently, to meet the harvesting needs of different spike height and different stalks harvesting rate.On the basis of theoretical analyses and experiments, the key parts are researched.. The principles of stalks capturing and corn ears picking are studied. On the basis of that the snapping rolls can pick corn ears, by theoretical analyses, and the diameter range of the snapping rolls is determined to provide theoretical basis for the design of snapping rolls. Stalks delivery mechanism of multi-roll in single row is invented, and the device can prevent jam and has an alignment function. The feeding cabin is formed by the interspaces between the feeding rollers and Gap Bridge. For the function of jam preventing and alignment being realized, the rollers are different in tooth profile, arranged in alternate permutations, and the roller's linear velocity increases progressively, etc.,The structure of reciprocating cutterbar is studied and analyzed, and the basic parameters of moving knife are determined. The reciprocating cutterbar is driven by a actiondrive. The3D model of the actiondrive is built through UG/Modeling, and a research on the model's motion simulation is done through UG/Assembly and Motion modules. The changing situations of parameters such as displacement, speed, acceleration and force, etc of the mechanism are gotten to provide a theoretical basis for the actiondrive.A field test on the physical prototype is carried out in Zibo etc. The results show that the corn combine reaping corn ears and stalks has a good working performance and geographical adaptability. And each index is up to the design standards, and it lays a foundation for the succeeding improvement and extension of this technology. |
