Forest tourism is a preference of holiday life for urban residents. The special bea-uty and cultural connotation of recreation stands endear Bamboo to the public. TakingHuishan forest Park and Qingshan Park as an example, this paper used climate comfort,airborne suspended particulate matters (PM, including TSP, PM10, PM2.5), aero-anionlevels and organic volatile compounds(VOCs) as indexes to study ecological health fun-ctions of Phyllostachys heterocycla stands, and took forest edge as control. The mainstudy contents and the results of these are as follows:1.Bamboo stands had significant ecology effects. It can effectively improve the mi-croclimate environment, reduce the concentration of airborne particulate matters, increaseair–anion content and release benefit VOCs.2.The air quality and fittest recreation time during the day reflected by indicatorswere different.①Human climate comfort was highest in the morning and afternoon, atnoon the least.②The concentration of air particulate matter was minimum at noon andrelatively high in the morning and afternoon.③the concentration of Aero-anion peakedat about13:00, and the concentration was low at morning and afternoon.④The diurnalvariations of organic volatile compounds showed nearly "three peaks and three vales",the peaks occurred at1:00,11:00~13:00, and21:00. The volatiles concentration peakwhich was beneficial to human health occurred at3:00,9:00,13:00~17:00, while thevolatiles concentration peak which was detrimental to human health occurred at1:00,7:00,23:00.3.Stands density and microclimate affected forest air quality indexes. The bamboostands which had low density performed better in improving human comfort, dust andVOCs than those which had too large density. Light intensity, wind speed, temperature,relative humidity had different affecting degree on air quality of bamboo stands. 4.There were a close relationship among several factors to ecology health in bamboo.①There were a significantly positive relationship between aero-anion and airborne particulatematters.②BVOCs can decrease airborne microbe contents and increase aero-anion.
